500 driver hires for Arriva
Joe McRoberts applied digital marketing principles to a major driver recruitment challenge—helping Arriva recruit 500 drivers and achieve their strongest results to date.
2019
McRoberts is founded
McRoberts launched as a performance-driven talent attraction partner for transport, winning early contracts with RATP Dev Transit London.
2022
Proven beyond volume hiring
We successfully applied the same approach to hard-to-hire, lower-volume roles (like bus schedulers and shift managers), proving the model works beyond mass recruitment.
2023
Expansion into the US
We won our first US contract with RATP Dev USA, taking our driver hiring playbook across new markets and operational realities.

Jobs platform + retention intelligence solution
We launched the McRoberts Jobs Platform so candidates can apply directly - and we’re launching a driver retention intelligence solution to help employers reduce early churn and improve long-term fit.

GDPR and data protection

Candidate data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. McRoberts operates on a controller/processor model: you remain the Data Controller and we act as your Data Processor, processing personal data only on your documented instructions to deliver the service.

We build GDPR into delivery with privacy-by-design, data minimisation, clear candidate transparency, and strong governance around DPAs, retention, and sub-processors. We also support you in meeting data subject rights requests and maintain clear processes for incident management and notification.

Cyber Security

Security is built into how we work. McRoberts is Cyber Essentials Plus certified, and we apply practical controls to protect systems and data while keeping hiring moving reliably.

That includes role-based access, strong account and device security, secure data handling, operational resilience practices, and oversight of third-party tools used in delivery.
