How much does a McRoberts recruitment campaign cost?
Your quote reflects the roles, locations, number of hires, timescale and difficulty of reaching suitable candidates. We support single vacancies, ongoing hiring and recruitment across multiple locations.
Your hiring needs
Tailored campaign
We scope the setup, management, screening and candidate progression around your brief and hiring target.
Your candidate market
Recommended advertising
Advertising is budgeted separately according to the role, location, competition and timescale, rather than a fixed allowance.
Your agreed investment
No placement fees
Your proposal sets out the total investment, advertising budget, optional extras and VAT clearly before you commit.
We recommend a launch budget for your specific challenge, then review candidate quality and campaign results with you. Any changes to scope or spend are agreed before they are made.
What does your campaign quote cover?
McRoberts is a managed recruitment service. Your proposal confirms the work included to build, run and improve the campaign, alongside the advertising budget and any optional extras.
Campaign setup & messaging
Role briefing, accurate job information, employer messaging and a candidate journey that makes the rewards and demands clear before interview.
Advertising management
Campaign creation and ongoing management across the channels appropriate to the vacancy, including search, social media and job boards where relevant.
Candidate screening
Applicants are screened against your agreed essentials, including practical fit, so your hiring team spends less time on unsuitable people.
Candidate progression
Suitable candidates can be presented in the McRoberts setup, moved into your ATS where integration is included, and offered interview booking where appropriate.
Active optimisation
We monitor advertising performance and candidate quality, then refine targeting, messaging and screening as the campaign runs.
Account management
Regular conversations with your team to review results, discuss candidate quality, solve problems and agree changes.
How does pricing work as you add job titles and locations?
We build the proposal around your hiring requirement. Additional roles, locations or hiring volume may change the scope and advertising budget, but there is no placement fee each time somebody joins.
Same job title, more hires
There is no extra placement fee for each successful hire. We recommend the campaign scope and advertising budget around the number of people you need and your timescale.
Same job title, another location
We assess the candidate market and advertising required at each site, and identify where campaign work can be reused. Your proposal confirms the investment across all locations.
Different job title
A different job title requires its own campaign because the messaging, audience, screening criteria and candidate journey may all be different.
Support for different hiring needs
Individual vacancy
A focused campaign
For a single driver, manager or specialist vacancy, we assess whether recruitment marketing is the right fit and price around the brief.
Ongoing recruitment
A sustained pipeline
For repeat hiring, we agree the campaign scope, advertising budget and duration needed to support your recruitment plan.
Multiple locations
A coordinated programme
For hiring across depots or sites, we recommend location-specific advertising and a shared approach to messaging, screening and reporting.
Why do we not charge placement fees?
You pay for the agreed recruitment campaign, with no additional placement charge when somebody is hired. The scope and advertising investment are matched to your hiring target.
No fee per successful candidate
Hire one person or several for the same active job title and location without triggering a separate placement charge each time.
No percentage of salary
We do not calculate a placement fee as a percentage of the successful candidate's salary. Campaign pricing reflects the brief and the work and advertising required.
Your employer brand
Candidates are attracted into a campaign built around your business and vacancy, creating your own candidate pipeline rather than an agency-owned shortlist.
What can be added to a campaign?
Your proposal confirms the core campaign scope. Additional technology, content or support can be quoted separately where it helps meet your requirements.
ATS integration
Quoted separately
Integrate suitable candidates into your existing applicant tracking system where a direct integration is required.

Quoted separately
Professional filming and recruitment content to help candidates understand the role, workplace and reasons to join before they apply.

Scoped to your needs
Additional campaign management, reporting or operational support for larger or more complex recruitment programmes, with the scope agreed with you.
We will not add extras simply to increase the size of the proposal. They are recommended where there is a clear operational or performance reason for using them.
What results can you expect?
Results vary by role, pay, location, working pattern, competition and candidate supply. These client examples show what previous campaigns have achieved; they are not a forecast or guarantee for your campaign.
